PHOENIX REBORN
Making Memories Amongst History
Monroe Street Abbey, formerly First Baptist Church, is a historic building in downtown Phoenix that has undergone a remarkable transformation. Built in 1929, it served as a church until the 1970s, then faced a devastating fire in 1984 that left the building severely damaged. After years of preservation efforts, it has been reborn as a cultural hub.
