Downtown Chamber Series was founded in 2000 by musicians and artists seeking a new approach to live chamber music in Phoenix, Arizona. Our concerts are held amidst visual art and feature six programs a year, exploring a wide diversity of music and instruments. The concerts are always unique changing with different venues, musicians, and exhibitions.

As part of its Annual Festival, Phoenix Chamber Music will perform at Monroe Street Abbey on April 16, 2026. Featuring Jennifer Johnson Cano, soprano, Tara Helen O’Connor, flute, Ann Marie McDermott, piano, and viola tbd. Brahams Two Songs for Voice, Viola, and Piano Op. 91 and Schubert variations on “Trockne Blumen” for flute and piano.
